FOR TODAY: MONDAY, MARCH 29, 2010
OUTSIDE MY WINDOW: The sun is starting to rise. It is going to be mostly cloudy and cooler, but at least the rain has left. The rest of the week, will be absolutly beautiful.
I AM THANKFUL FOR: Having wonderful friends that are concerned with my health issues and are constantly praying for me. I have the greatest friends.
I AM WEARING: My PJ's, warm robe and my fuzzy slippers. Need to get dress to take the girls to school though.
I AM REMEMBERING: The reason behind Easter. I am remembering all that Jesus gave up for us and our sins.
I AM GOING: Take the girls to school, then to the store. Other than that, no where until it is time to pick the girls back up from school. I may go out to lunch with my mom today. I will see what she has planned for the day.
I AM CURRENTLY READING: My devontionals & favorite blogs. No time for my books, right now. :(
FROM THE LEARNING ROOM: Monday's are the big homework day for us. My kids try to get most of the homework that is assigned for the week, done on Monday's. We have too much going on during the rest of the week, with practices, Religion class, & this is Holy Week, so we will be attending chruch Thur. & Fri.
I AM HOPING: That DH has a safe trip back to TN today. He will be back home Friday. I don't like when he travels. Miss him already. :(
NOTICING THAT: There are some parents out there, that just don't realize the damage they are doing to their children, by not teaching them what is right/wrong in society. So many kids have no respect or morals anymore and that just breaks my heart. My girls had an episode with a girl down the street this weekend and this girl had said things that were very inapproiate for their ages. So now my girls will no longer being playing with this child. I have to look out for my children's well being.
PONDERING THESE WORDS: "And there is such a thing as too much money and too much sun and too much of a good thing, but this world has only one thing that there can never be enough of: there is no such thing as too much love. And they may not etch it on memorial stone, but granite erodes and quiet people know it so we get up every day and we make the porridge and wash the underwear and pay the bills and tend to the hurting and we etch the love on the hearts, that which beats on without end and we pulse throughout the universe." I AM HEARING: Birds chirping and my girls playing barbies upstairs and I have the Morning Show on the TV.
FROM THE KITCHEN: Breakfast is finished. Lunch for me, not sure yet (kids eating at school). Dinner; my son has requested smoked saugsage, real mashed potatoes, and broccoli. Sounds good to me.
ONE OF MY FAVORITE THINGS: Thunder Storms
A FEW PLANS FOR THE REST OF THE WEEK: Homework tonight, J-Bird has practice Tues. Wed. I have to work late (inventory)and the kids have Religion class. And Friday, my hubby comes home for the weekend. We are going to dye Easter eggs Fri. evening. Hopefully I remember to take some pics.
I also have to catch up on laundry this week too. We were gone most of the weekend, so it is backed up. Ughhh. Laundry is never ending here. :(
